Dr. Sarit Buzaglo“My name is Dr. Sarit Buzaglo. Once I was a teenage high school dropout without hope. Today, I am working with the world’s top experts in coding theory.

Beyond the scholarship support, ISEF taught me to see myself as not just as a poor girl from a poor family, but as someone who made it through and can serve as a role model and make a difference for others. This reflects ISEF’s vision; help one group of people who will in turn help others and so on.”

Matching Gifts

Many businesses match contributions made by their employees and spouses. Help double or triple the impact of your gift on ISEF’s deserving students by asking your employer to match your contribution.

If your company doesn’t already have a matching gift program, please contact Anita Schnee, ISEF’s Business Operations Manager, at 212-683-7772, for informationon how a matching gift program can be set up at your company.

ISEF is a participating organization under Jewish Charities of America as part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

Bridge to College

Through the Luna and Selim Benardete Bridge to College Fund, young scholars are trained in leadership and serve as mentors, tutors and role models for young Israelis in their home communities.

The program targets high school students in the distressed area of Nesher, who show clear potential for college, but need financial assistance, along with help to develop self-confidence, pass their matriculation exams and gain admission to higher education.
