ISEF-Intel Science Education Partnership

Since 1996, when ISEF established this pioneering partnership with Intel Corporation to promote scientific literacy among  underprivileged youth, over 20,000 junior high school pupils in Kiryat Gat and Petach Tikva have studied physics and other science topics under the tutelage of ISEF’s scholars.

The project excels in using innovative curricula and imparting hands-on experience, as pupils wire miniature model homes for electricity and perform other experiments.

The ISEF scholars who lead this project are mostly pursuing degrees in math, engineering, and computer science. Their example shows hundreds of underprivileged youngsters per year that careers in science are a realistic option for the future.
